Next Sunday our Haslemere Boot Camp regulars Dani, Steve and Pom are taking part in the ‘RideLondon’ event. Their team dubbed ‘Neuro Velo’, they will be cycling from the Olympic Park in Stratford through the streets of London on to hilly Surrey, cycling up the horrendous Leith Hill and Box Hill, before cycling all the way back London to finish line on The Mall.

They’ve put a huge effort into training for this event, including the ultimate sacrifice skipping their favourite Saturday morning Boot Camp to go on mammoth cycle rides in preparation.

They are tacking this challenge to raise money for The Neuro Foundation. The Neuro Foundations vision is to improve the lives of those affected by neurofibromatosis. Neurofibromatosis is a genetic condition and is caused by a mutation in one the genes.  It is a term for a group of conditions mainly effecting the nervous system and skin.

To help motivate them to get up Leith Hill and Box Hill, they would love to get some more sponsorships. They have already raised £2,300 for The Neuro Foundation which is brilliant effort. If you fancy sponsoring them head over to their JustGiving page!

Good luck guys!
